Definitions
"South Kensington Minicabs," "we," or "us" refers to the service-providing company. The terms "you" and "your" apply to any individual, business, or entity making a booking with us.
Booking
2.1 It is imperative that you allow sufficient time for your journey, especially for airport transfers where timely check-in is crucial for your flight. Failure to allocate adequate time resulting in delays will not be the responsibility of South Kensington Minicabs.
2.2 Ensuring a car of appropriate size for passengers and luggage is your responsibility. We do not guarantee the transportation of excessive luggage. Please note that regardless of age, each child counts as a single passenger.
2.3 Requests for wheelchair access must be made at the time of booking.
Prices & Payment
3.1 Our quotations are based on the information provided by you. Prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise, and any applicable charges will be added. We reserve the right to adjust quotes for significant itinerary changes.
3.2 Our quotes include a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and airport parking fees. Additional waiting time will be charged at our standard rate. While we endeavor to accommodate flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.
3.3 Upon accepting our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to ensure its accuracy. Failure to notify us of any inaccuracies may result in delays or additional costs for which we will not be liable.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.
The Service
4.1 You are accountable for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Charges may apply for any damage or mess caused to the vehicle by passengers.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is prohibited in the vehicle.
4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We are not permitted to exceed the licensed or insured passenger capacity.
Cancellations
5.1 Promptly notify us if you need to cancel your booking. Cancellation after dispatch may incur charges based on the distance covered by the driver.
5.2 Cancellation charges may apply if made after dispatch for bookings made through our online system.
Liability
6.1 While we strive for punctuality, we are not liable for delays beyond our control. South Kensington Minicabs will not be responsible for any losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Your luggage is carried at your own risk.
6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to arrange alternative transportation promptly.
6.4 You agree not to hold South Kensington Minicabs liable for expenses, damages, or losses resulting from actions or omissions of any party in your group.
6.5 Parties cannot exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or wilful default, or any other matter deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if the safety of our vehicle or driver is compromised due to abuse, violence, or damage from you or any passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous
8.1 We reserve the right to subcontract our obligations. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 We may amend these terms and conditions at any time, with changes reflected on this page. It is your responsibility to review them regularly. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates applicable at the time of booking.
8.3 Information handling is in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between South Kensington Minicabs and yourself.
8.5 No third party is entitled to enforce rights under this agreement unless expressly agreed upon in writing.
Disputes
Any dispute or claim must be raised within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Claims or disputes made beyond this timeframe may not be entertained by South Kensington Minicabs.
